The National Three Peaks - 24 Hour Challenge - 30th, 31st May & 1st June 2025
The National Three Peaks Challenge is an event in which participants attempt to climb the highest mountains of England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours, including driving time between the three mountains.
Walkers climb each peak in turn, and are driven from the foot of one mountain to the next.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft).
WHAT'S INCLUDED
One night accommodation in Fort William on Friday 30th May. (Breakfast is not included).

Training - walkers must attend two organised training days in the lead up to the challenge. These will take place on Dartmoor on 9th February and in the Brecon Beacons in May.
The time in between and after these dates is for individuals to consolodate their training by repeating the routes in their own time. This training is compulsory, walkers will not be allowed to participate unless they have attended both days. The cost for each training day is £20pp.
If the mountain leaders agree that further training is required, then another day in the mountains will take place.
If, after this test day, the leaders think an individual won't meet the required level of mountain fitness in time for the challenge, Peaks and Trails reserve the right to cancel that individual's place at the full cost to that person.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
All food, drinks and snacks.
Personal kit and clothing. Goretex waterproof jacket / trousers and sturdy waterproof boots are compulsory.
50% deposits are non refundable from the time of booking.

Friday 30th May:
05:00 - Depart Barnstaple for Fort William in Scotland
18:00 - Check into accommodation
19:00 - Evening meal & final briefing
21:00 - Kit checks & bed
Saturday 31st May:
05:00 - Start Ben Nevis
10:00 - Travel to The Lake District
17:00 - Start Scafell Pike
21:00 - Travel to Snowdonia
Sunday 1st June:
02:00 - Start Snowdon
04:30 - Complete challenge
